There are a lot of bars and a Hooka bar. I'm not to sure about rave bars.
There aren't really big events like that here but people party every weekend almost and Halloween lasts for three days of partying. There are bars, but not too many raves.
I personally dont go to this school but i was doing some research the other day about Chico state and it is still considered a party school. I believe it was still in the top 10 or 20 among U.S. Colleges for being a party school.

Anyone can get into house parties depending who it's hosted by. If it's a sorority or a fraternity it's more than likey you won't get in, but if it's a regular house party and there are a lot of people you might be able to get in
