Although police and CSOs are present on campus and at the dorms, the majority of students have been able to avoid any direct altercations with them. And those who have know they probably deserved whatever they got. The biggest threat to parties being broken up at the dorms is actually your neighbors. Whoever lives next to you can determine a lot about how you spend your time. Parties in the dorms usually get broken up because someone nearby has made a complaint, and the RA or police have to do something about it. You can avoid this by keeping the music low and keeping the invitation list to 10 people, tops.
Students have quite a different opinion about the parking police who seem to be constantly patrolling the parking lots. They are aware of every trick in the book students use to try to get away with free parking. The widespread understanding is that there is no way around them, so you’re better off not trying. If you park on the streets, look at the street signs to make sure you aren’t parking during street cleaning hours because that’s a $45 ticket. The city police are on to the students, too. They usually hide behind bushes or street corners waiting for a student to make an illegal left turn. Especially watch out for the motorcycle cops. They can be pretty strict when it comes to off-campus parties, too, because they want to prevent drunk driving and underage drinking. You can guarantee a huge party will be broken up by 1 a.m., so you’re better off keeping your party under control.

I Haven't Noticed Anything Out of the Ordinary
The school's strictness is fairly regular. I haven't noticed anything that would be cause for alarm.

Reasonable
Rules are clear and enforced. It is known what is acceptable and any broken rules are reasonably punished

Too Much
In the few actions of discpline I have seen; they have been too hard or too soft. Rules can be bent, but punishments must fit the crime Bernal
