If you’re ever hungry for some off-campus food, you’re in luck. With great prices and great variety, students’ only problem is deciding which restaurant to eat at. Choosing between Thai, Indian, rotisserie chicken, Japanese, sub sandwiches, Mediterranean, Mexican, Argentinean, and burgers can be difficult. Many of the restaurants are on Reseda Boulevard, which is within walking distance of CSUN, so many students decide to eat off campus if they have a break between classes. Restaurants close to CSUN usually offer a 10 percent discount, so don’t forget to flash your student ID card before you pay, because chances are, they won’t remind you. Many of these restaurants are locally owned, and the average price for a meal is about $6, which makes eating out on a student budget quite doable. The majority of restaurants also have lunch specials.
Restaurants run the gamut from fast food to healthy, and there’s always something for whatever mood you’re in. For late-night dining check out Denny’s, and for late-night studying head over to Starbucks, which closes at 11:30 p.m. When parents come into town, check out the California Chicken, or when you want to watch the game head over to Chili’s, but when you want to be out late drinking saki bombs the only place is Shogun Sushi. Unfortunately, there aren’t many romantic sit-down places to take someone. The majority of the restaurants are seat-yourself dining.

Great Restaurants!
There is quite a selection of great restaurants to choose from, including Chili's, Acapulco, Shakey's, Starbucks, and Chipotle.

there is plenty of choices outside as well as inside the campus such as subway mcdonalds chipotle carls jr chineeses food and chilis to name a few
