CSUSM campus strictness is fairly high. On a non-academic level, there is a "no tolerance" policy on campus.

Students will be warned the first time of an infraction on campus. If the student is a repeat offender, there will be serious consequences. Academically, CSUSM is a very strict school. There are no exceptions to rules and regulations students must complete or comply with.
