I completely agree with this. The parking permit prices are completely unreasonable.

The parking on campus is hectic. There are several parking lots, but they are usually overcrowded. Some students try to park off campus in the surrounding communities, but many have been ticketed for parking in commercial or residential areas over an extended period of time.

With such hot weather at CSUSM, it can be a pain to park, having to walk long distances from class to a student's car. Also, the price of the parking permits on campus is too overpriced, especially when considering the lack of space availability. However, a new parking structure was recently built, so hopefully some (if not all) of the parking issues will be alleviated.
