Drug Safety at California State University - Stanislaus

Not a Problem.

I wouldnt say there is a drug or even alcohol problem at Stanislaus. There is no fraternity or sorority row so the college lifestyle of binge drinking isnt too much of a problem here. Most people go out to local restaurants and drink with friends there.

Overall Experience at California State University - Stanislaus

It's Fun and Keeps You Focused

Stanislaus is a fairly small school in a small town compared with other schools in California. Although some see that as a disadvantage, I consider it an advantage. The school is small enough for people to socialize with eachother and party on weekends, but it isnt so big that people get lost in the party scene and lose focus on school. I feel that the schools size helps create a sense of unity among students. People are able to enjoy the 'college life' without getting overwhelmed and losing focus of the reason they are there in the first place.

Facilities at California State University - Stanislaus

The Student Recreation Center Is Great!

The SRC is only about 2 or 3 years old, and it is beautiful!! There is a room with free weights, weight machines, cardio machines and yoga mats. There is a basketball court and a group workout room. The SRC really utilizes the facilities it has, and they offer classes throughout the day monday-friday. There are lockers and showers to use, and there is plenty of information on how to tone up or what to do to target specific body parts. The gym is amazing and is also connected to a beautiful track stadium and soccer field. It's an enjoyable experience being here just because of the beautiful surroundings, it definatly feels like a first class facility
