Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

At Cal U, the most prevalent substance is—by far—weed. It’s probably the easiest to come across in your adventures at the school. Occasionally, a person may have access to hallucinogens, like mushrooms or acid, or uppers, like coke or "molly" (MDMA), but you would have to search for it in order to find it. Sometimes kids will be on Adderall during finals to be more productive. It’s just a matter of what you want, and how far you will go to find it. No crackheads or meth addicts, though—at least, if they are here, you never see them.

As a warning, there have been a few cases of break-ins and robberies of drugs or plants, especially off campus. So the moral of the story is to be careful with who you deal with and don’t be stupid. For those who dislike the drug scene, there is plenty of sober fun to be had on campus, too! Don't worry—you won't be peer pressured or anything.
