I thought this as well, but compared to most colleges and universities, parking at Calvin is great. Many colleges and universities charge more than $500 for a parking pass, I believe it is closer to $150 at Calvin. It can be difficult to get a spot, but even when you do get ticketed, the fee is reasonable.
