Varsity is the main importance, but others are too

There aren't any parties on campus.
College Freshman 2013-11-25T04:38:45Z
It's great! The parking is directly behind dorms.

Financial aid took away some of my aid stating I had earned "too much" so I had to pay out of pocket. However, I know of athletes who receive residual checks. I don't think the financial aid is fair across the board.

Dorm visitation is an issue. Not bad if you live in the Residence Village, but definitely inconvenient if you live in one of the traditional dorms.

Wireless connection is now largely campus-wide, although it can go in and out. Most computer labs are open and available during the day, but all labs but the one in the library close around 5 pm.

Campbellsville is known for their athletic programs. A huge percentage of our students are also student athletes.

I'm not a partier. I have nothing against people who enjoy it, that's just not my personal idea of fun. The county is "dry" so most people travel a good distance to get any sort of alcohol.
College Junior 2013-11-05T03:53:50Z
While there are some things that undoubtedly need work, Campbellsville is a family. It's not for everyone, but it's home to me.

There isn't a form of university-provided transportation. Everything is close enough where you don't need it, you don't mind walking.
College Junior 2013-11-05T03:52:07Z
There are some options for off-campus dining. Not many big name restaurants, mostly fast food.

Health & Safety:
There aren't many (if any) incidents which occur on campus that make me feel unsafe. If there is any suspicious behavior, campus security is good about making sure students are notified of any possible risk.
College Junior 2013-11-05T03:49:14Z
It rains pretty much every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday in Campbellsville. People with umbrellas take up the whole sidewalk. The blacktop around campus gets slick to walk on when wet.
When it snows/ices the school's unofficial motto is, "If Jesus can walk on water, so can you."
College Junior 2013-11-05T03:47:41Z
There is often not a space within close walking distance of my dorm. There are a lot of cases of people who live in different dorms taking up spaces in parking lots which aren't close to their dorm. Commuters have trouble finding close spots to their classes.
College Junior 2013-11-05T03:45:39Z
The university has a no tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, and tobacco on campus. If it's "on you, in you, or around you," you are held responsible. It may be a pain for the people who enjoy those activities, but it insures the rest of us have a healthy, safe living environment.
However, I definitely know of people who go off-campus to party and aren't held accountable.

Facilities need some renovations. They serve their purpose, but they aren't competitive among the public universities.

Guys & Girls:
Very cliquey, the sports teams hang out with their particular sports teams, people from the same places usually hang out with one another.

Our athletics are awesome here. Many students are athletes, and if they are not, they are still team-spirited.
College Sophomore 2013-09-06T14:48:11Z
The computer labs are usually not crowded. Most students have their own computers in their rooms so there is plenty of room for those who don't. The network speed is good, and it doesn't cost much to print.
College Sophomore 2013-09-06T14:46:45Z
There are many options in our cafeteria which is nice, but sometimes I get tired of the food. I end up eating at Chick-fil-A on campus quite a bit.
College Sophomore 2013-09-06T14:45:20Z
Our parking is okay. You don't have to buy a permit and all students are allowed to have a car; however, the availability of parking is limited, which causes trouble when trying to find a spot before class in a limited amount of time.

Health & Safety:
I feel like im safe on campus, but not as much when im in my room. Because they leave the front door unlocked, so anybody that wants to can get in at anytime. thats the only thing that i fear.
College Sophomore 2013-08-29T20:30:50Z

The dining hall is ok i guess. reminds me of my high school food. I say its good for some people standards, but i think it could be better.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
