There are several computers available for student use in almost every building at Canisius. They are mostly Macs, but there are PCs in the library, as well as computers that are multifunctional; users have the option to select either the Macintosh or Windows systems. The library lets you rent laptops free of charge. Most students have their own laptops anyway, but the easy access to other computers is nice when you don't want to drag yours around all day. Generally, you can consistently find an open computer to use, but it often depends on the time.

Computers are always up-to-date, but the wireless can be iffy sometimes. You can always call ITS (Information Technology Services) for help, but it just so happens many people tend to call ITS at the same time, and you might be out of luck. ITS staff is helpful, though, and there are student workers at ITS desks on the first floor of the library.
