As a finance and economics double major I appreciate the classes I am required to take. I see their relevance to a career in the field. For the first time in my education, I see how I can potentially apply what I am learning to a real life job. The professors in the finance department are mostly sweet, old men with a sense of humor, which is great. The economics professors are a bit more rough, but knowledgeable, at least. There are lots of great internship opportunities that professors or career center staff will often send emails about.
