While Buffalo is a great cultural place to be, the college's location to a lot of its better areas isn't great. There aren't any good restaurants, shops, museums, or movie theaters within reasonable walking distance, especially in the winter. If you take a bus, or drive to Elmwood, or take the train to the downtown area (which takes about 15 minutes) there are better "attractions." It's unfortunate, but everything worth seeing, doing, or eating requires some sort of transportation. With a little effort, students can see and do a lot of the interesting things Buffalo has to offer.
