Greek life doesn't have much of a presence at Canisius. A few join the only social fraternity or social sorority, but it's not a big deal if you do, and it's not a big deal if you don't. The Greeks organize several events around campus, and the fraternity sponsors an annual scholarship.
There are more academically-oriented organizations, or "honor societies," that use Greek letters at Canisius, such as Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity (ladies accepted, as well, of course), and Alpha Kappa Psi (business).
