The financial aid process can definitely be a hassle if you do not have the correct information or the correct guidance to get you through the process easily. My tips would be to fill out your FAFSA as soon as you get it the earlier you turn it in equals the more money you get. Also apply for as many scholarships as possible don't stop until your hand aches.

The tuition is very high because it is a private school but it gets discounted by high school grades and general grants the school gives out so it ends up being affordable

It was very easy to get a hold of people in the office to help me with any questions I had. I only had to go into the office twice over the past year to get the most financial aid possible. I now attend Canisius College with the most financial aid I could get because they are willing to help you get through any loop hole to make sure you get the aid you deserve to get.

I received a lot of financial aid and it was easy to obtain. The employees in the Financial Aid office are really helpful and can explain everything you need to know and how to apply.

Canisius considers you an adult now and no one will follow you around to tell or remind you what financial aid must be done, however the financial aid office is knowledgable, and will help you but not always with smile.
