Normally single parent gets to go to school for free. Not me! Online schools are much more expensive for some reason and do not give as much Aid. I am very in debt, but I like that I get a refund from my Financial Aid. I use that to live off of and I do not have to work while I am in school. So that makes it a lot easier for me to cope with the debt I am in.

Easy Access to Financial Aid

The quality of education that you recieve at Capella is well worth the cost.The financial aid department at Capella is easy to connect with and always helpful in answering questions and helping you find solutions to problems. The applciation process is quick and painless. There is also information about scholarships on site.

Emergency Management Degree.

If your State requires a true Emergency Management Degree, Capella is not the College you should attend. Capella offers an Emergency Management degree but it consists mostly of criminal justice courses. The degree you will get is Public Safety with major in Emergency Management. You do not get the required courses that most Emergency Managers need to do their jobs. Like incident Command, EFS, drill designs and critiques.
