Carroll University Snapshot

Overall, Carroll University is a great school. If given the chance, most students would choose it again. First off, this is because of the atmosphere. Carroll is small, so everything feels close and homey. The campus is beautiful and pleasant to walk through. Even downtown is close, which allows for some freedom on the weekends. It is enjoyable to have a little escape every now and then. In addition, the classes are small, so it is easy to get to know other students and faculty. This is something unique to Carroll—the relationship between students and professors. Many students form bonds with faculty members. There are no professor aids teaching any class, and the staff is helpful. If a student ever has questions or concerns, someone who works for Carroll is always available to help. It does not matter if a student needs computer help or is feeling overwhelmed by class; there is some service which will be happy to help. Carroll prepares its students for the real world by requiring internships or studying abroad. They offer career services, job fairs, and resume workshops. The apartment-style dorms are a great segue into housing after college. Carroll University is not intimidating. It feels like a home. Friends and faculty become family. For prospective students, Carroll University should be on the radar. It is a wonderful place for learning and a great place to make memories.
