Case is best-suited for self-motivated, goal-oriented students with a firm grasp on reality. Most students have professional aspirations and a solid idea where they want to be in 10 years. Students tend to be very content with the level of academics and research and learning opportunity. The largest amount of concern from students comes from issues such as social atmosphere and male-female ratio. Students are mostly very happy with their professors and the facilities and resources available for students.

People are wired and “connected,” but often very out-of-touch at the same time. It is often interesting to speculate about what cultural analysts from the future would say about the culture on the Case campus. Few students questioned expressed a concern for the amount of student involvement in University or students development or described any need for change in the relationship between departments or between students of different schools within Case. The Case campus offers freedom, and the city of Cleveland affords opportunities; students have the option to carve out their own niche.
