| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
The University’s Office of Career Services helps students find a job, internship, write resumes and cover letters, handle interviews, and more. A representative from Career Services visits students in their freshman year to introduce the office and how it can help students. Career Services offers online resources that help students find a job or internship, as well as in-person advice and job fairs. Washington, D.C., offers many opportunities for students interested in politics, international relations, and media, so it is quite easy for students to independently find their own internships. But students should still take advantage of the resources available with Career Services, and the best way to do so is to take 15 minutes to talk to a representative and feel out the process.
