Washington, D.C. is an incredible city, and the food is no exception. D.C. provides the treasures of fast food dining, as well as top-notch restaurants perfect for birthday outings, dates, and big group excursions. Of course, off-campus dining works best in moderation, since D.C. is a pricey city. But it is still comforting to know that if you all of the sudden get the urge for Indian food, you won't have to travel too far to find it.

With that being said, the Brookland neighborhood, where the University is located, doesn't boast the same luxuries. But that's OK because it more than makes up for it in well-priced, quick service, and delicious takeout and delivery restaurants. There is a time to tighten the purse strings and eat on campus. There is a time to indulge in tasty wings, pizza, and sweet and sour chicken right off campus. But there is also a time to go all out and treat yourself to four-star Italian cuisine.
