Centre has a strong tradition of attracting academically-conscientious students, and it follows suit that, after making the cut, the workload can be strenuous. The challenging workload provides a full-time commitment during the week, but also allows for free time during the weekend, with some careful time management. Going to class, attending outside lecturers and convocations, and meeting with professors at the café for coffee and paper conferences are just a couple of ways to take advantage of the prominent faculty that are available for your personal benefit. Centre's academics are remarkably strong because they combine faculty at the top of their fields, who focus on teaching instead of research, and students who are willing
to learn.

The academic reputation Centre enjoys is what usually attracts potential students. Centre C also boasts an established practice of networking-around campus, it's known as the "Alumni Mafia." Besides the faculty and staff, who will do backwards cartwheels to be over-involved in your academic career, Centre's Career Services can land a you killer job. While Centre may not make any big party-school lists or have Ivy League credentials, its strength is in fostering an academic environment that produces well-balanced graduates with bright futures.
