College Prowler Take
Transportation is virtually nonexistent, because there just isn’t a need for it. Centre is a small campus that’s easy to walk, and downtown Danville is just a few blocks off campus. The only transportation you may ever need is going to a restaurant or Wal-Mart, or maybe for a trip up to Lexington. Luckily, you’ll rarely do these activities alone, and your friends will probably have a car, as most Centre students do.

We don't really have a lot of public transportation. They did just start a bus system that goes near campus and takes you around Danville. Most people at Centre know someone who has a car, so we just ride around with each other when we need to go places. I don't have a car, and I've never had a problem going places.

There really is not that much public transportation since Danville is such a small town. Then again, there's really nothing you need that's not in walking distance.
