This grade is for real. Chamberlain is very challenging. There's lots of reading. The lessons are thorough. I suggest that future students start posting responses to discussions early in the week. You have to keep up with assignments. They are a bit challenging but not unmanageable.

Chamberlain has many departments. I call them at least once a week. Any questions that I can think of I ask. Everyone is super friendly. I never feel like they don't want to help me. They stay on the phone with me and talk me through what ever I need. I'm a little lazy so most often, they take care of the situation for me!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The school offers a special military rate. That makes a big difference. I think that it's worth it even if I wasn't getting this discount. I applied to many nursing schools and the process was horrible. I was exhausted by the time I found Chamberlain. The admissions counselor was supper friendly and took care of everything including ordering my transcripts.

The computer network work just fine. I get to long in daily and the system is never down. When I'm online I can find all the information that I need to complete and assignment and do research. There's an 800 number where I can call daily 24/7. I utilize every resource that they have because I want to succeed. Chamberlain is the best nursing school that I ever when to.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I had transferred from SIUE to Chamberlain because I did not get accepted into their Nursing program. After pushing myself two years back I realized I needed to transfer. Chamberlain accepted me into their nursing program and I was very excited, however I knew I was going to max out in my students loans. I had to hassle with the payments plans and sometimes it would become stressful. I wish Chamberlain could have a way to help students and more options to pay for school.

Online courses worked with my work and family schedule. There is a lot of writing papers in the courses, but it worked out in my favor. Courses were challenging, but not too difficult to do even with job and family responsibilities.

Chamberlain offers a lot of help and resources after graduation. Although I am not sure how successful they are since I have yet to graduate.

Well Chamberlain is only a Nursing school so it is nice that everyone is Nursing oriented and focused on that. So all resources are geared directly towards nursing and nothing else which is very helpful.

The admissions advisor at Chamberlain was outstanding. She guided me through every step. I was returning to school for the first time after 20 years and really needed help.Transferring of credits was painless. She helped me set up my class schedules. the flexibility of their on line classes is perfect for me. The ease of navigating their on line programs is outstanding. I can't say enough about how well my Chamberlain experience has been.

The Academics offered by Chamberlain have been a perfect fit for a nurse returning to school to complete a degree. My on line classes were acessible and organized. The program was user friendly. The curriculum is appropriate. My professor has been very active within the class. The feedback is ongoing and helpful. My admissions advisor made my refgistration for classes so easy. I had many telephone contacts with my advisor and was guided to their on line tutorials to help me prepare for my classes. I would recommend Chamberlain to any nurse who is planning to return to school. They made returning to school one of the most positive experiences that I have ever had.The work load is managable, on line study references, tutors and technical support availability is excellent.

I haven't had any experience with these services. I am taking my classes on line and I continue to work full time at my current job.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have spoken to some of the financial aid advisors at Chamberlain and they have all been most helpful. I have chosen not to apply for any loans, because I do not want to create any further debt for my self and family. I am trying to pay as I go along. I was encouraged to search for and apply for grants or scholarships. The advisors gave me information to get started on this process. I am a responsible, hard working person and I am determined to finish my education. Chamberlain has been a good fit for me, and my experience with them has been a very positive experience.

I am a current student at Chamberlain College of Nursing. I received a Diploma in Nursing in 1985. I recently returmed to school to obtain my BSN. A lot of hospitals are requiring or encouraging all RN's to have their BSN. I work full time on a sameday surgery unit and I am very dedicated to nursing. I chose Chamberlain College for it's on line program. It is very accessible for me. I have just taken my first online class. This was the first class that I have taken in 20 years. The advisors were so helpful and encouraging to someone who was returning to school after many years. The program is very organized and user friendly. As I returned to school, I was very apprehensive. The school offers so much on line support. They are very helpful to a student who is returning to school to continue their education. Returning to school has been a positive experience for me. The only problem is the cost. I need more money to continue my education. It is hard to maintain a household, work full time and find extra money for school. I am paying my way as I go along. It is taking time, but I feel like it is going to be worth it. By obtaining my BSN, I feel like my employment as an RN will be more secure. Chamberlain College of Nursing is aware of the "push" for diploma and Associate Degree Nurses to obtain their BSN. The RN to BSN program at Chamberlain was made for nurses like me, who are returning to school.

I take online classes so I am unaware of the student body.

Classes are flexible although I have been given contradicting information. For example I was only supposed to have two classes left before I completed my degree, then I was informed that I have five or six classes to complete which meant more money that I already don't have. I feel that I should have been able to be excluded from some classes based on my work experience but no credit was given for experience. I also had concerns with financial aid.
