Champlain College is very helpful with schlarships and financial aid. They want to help students attend college.

You can get scholarships, sure. But you'll see the scholarships on your list and not know how you got them. Financial aid office isn't very helpful, and it's very frustrating working with them. Most scholarships are for the kid who did well in school, based on good grades.

Have Not Done Enough With Them – i personally do not have enough experience in this matter to rate

I Have a 4.0 and Have No Merit Scholorship – The school doesn't give aid unless you make them. I am an incoming sophomore and have a 4.0 G.P.A., an off-campus job in addition to an internship, and will be an RA in the fall and still have no scholarships, merit or otherwise, to the school.

Usually Process – The steps to getting Finaid are pretty straight forward and easy to follow Freshman year, but once you have your aid and need to make changes, or are heading into a different year, it can become tricky to navigate all the do's and dont's. In general, the staff in the finaid office are upbeat and helpful, but not all staff treat students the same way. The best thing to do if you need help is to e-mail the office stating your issue(s), and then make an appointment with one of the staff.
