At the end of it all, students at Chatham University find themselves pleased with the experiences they have had. They mentioned that the school has its pros and cons; while they enjoy the experience they have, they do not enjoy the rising expenses. One student said that she doesn't feel it's right to have to fight for the education she wants and said Chatham isn't handling the economic crisis right. Others have said that the campus' small size detracts from its social scene. Nevertheless, the small size also gives students opportunities to work closer with their professors.
Chatham is not a place for everyone; as a small, all-women's University, social life is not a forefront, and the same-sex campus might be too stifling for some who like having both male and female friends. However, students who give Chatham a chance find that they adjust well to its environment, its people, and its life. They settle in and find their place amongst the sports, the schoolwork, and the social life. They work side-by-side with their professors and grow in mind and spirit, and those who endure graduate ready to take on the world and change it for the better.
