Health Services can prescribe birth control pills for $15 per pack, Depo-Provera for $50 per injection, and Plan B contraception for $15. It offers free condoms, too.

Social Scene
Chatham students tend to be fairly outgoing, most likely as a result of a very small campus and the fact that all students are women. Students form friendships with others in their residence halls and through athletic teams and organizations. Hookups often happen as a result of relationships formed through sports teams and by going out on weekends with other Chatham students. Most students are also involved on campus in at least one group or organization and stay involved throughout their four years at Chatham.
Hookups or Relationships?
The dating scene at Chatham is varied and depends on what the student is looking for. Many straight students maintain long-distance relationships with boyfriends from home or at other schools, but many meet guys in Pittsburgh and begin what are usually long-term relationships. For those looking for random hookups, frat parties are always available at other local schools. For gay or bisexual students on campus, random hookups are always an option, and some women seem to go through other women at a relatively rapid pace. Some students, however, do form lasting relationships, and the occasional relationship ends up lasting beyond the Chatham years.
Dress Code
Most students take advantage of the fact that Chatham is a women's college and do not dress up for class. Typical class clothes include jeans, T-shirts, and sweatpants. Some students dress nicely on a regular basis, but dressing up to attend class is by no means necessary. Since Chatham gives away free T-shirts quite often, it is common to see many students wearing the free T-shirts to class.
Did You Know?
The Office of Student Affairs offers dancing lessons (salsa, tango, etc.) in which a local fraternity also attends to be the male dance partners. These events are a great way to meet college guys while learning some sweet dance moves at the same time!
