My poor french teacher isnt on moodle but created a very shakey website that is borderline scary... my ECE teacher (in class) posts her power points on moodle but is always behind.

I gave this a D because it was one thing after another, step after step, delay after delay. I honestly didnt believe them when they told me I was done. Their only saving grace is how nice they were.

The Library is horrible, the religious section is just filled with bibles and it's unorganized and a total "blah" to be in. My one unimpressed moment on campus. I gave it a D instead of an F because it had books...

Clairmont's Wifi is on and off but otherwise I've had no problems!

I LOVE the FA office and Information desk, I could tear up with how kind and understanding they are, they will really go out of their way just for YOU. Worth the wait because you know they are giving their attention.

There are kids who I think believe they are still in High School. I expect them to last the semester maybe the years. In college you literally can't afford not to care or to have mixed priorities. Many are hard working and excel but I am surprised by the amount that are not.

I have seen job posts up but many offer a degree not obtainable through a 2 year college, or they will take forever to update new jobs. FA office is hard to get a hold of but are SO helpful and friendly.

I admit at first I thought French would be TOO hard, but my teacher has a very graceful system you just have to trust and Follow!

My ECE teacher is a little young, but I enjoy my class and the work load is very manageable!

I love my teachers and nothing feels far away.

I have no specific gripes about CCC, the staff is friendly, I'm impressed with the teaching staff and they have a beautiful campus for it's size as well as it offers my degree. (ECE) I find the library very weak though in comparison with the rest of the campus and the selection even worse. "New Age" books should not be hard to come by and the religious section should NOT just be filled with bibles.

Overall, the academic experience at CCC is great. I have only one issue. There is one subject I know of in which there is only one instructor. This is definitely an issue. Students should have at least one other instructor to choose from for a 100-level course. I would like to see that changed.

The Math Lab is an excellent resource. I used the Math Lab on a few occasions last year, and I was pleased. This year should be better, because there will be instructors in there tutoring as well as the peer tutors which were there last year.

I have taken two online classes at CCC. They were great because the participation level was high in both classes. There was plenty of dialogue, which made for a great learning experience.
College Sophomore 2013-10-12T01:18:50Z
They had everything, a shuttle from the mall to school, a nice cafeteria, a lot of places to study, a lot of classes to choose from.
College Sophomore 2013-10-12T01:16:35Z
They have tons of computers for the students to use as well as printers and wifi. They have help from those more experience incase you should need assistance, truly great.

I wished there was money to give to the student s and as a whole I don't think is as much money as other school and the quality keeps building.

It was a great place to start out. They always had activities for the students, and always seem to want to better the quality of the school.

When i decided to switch career's I knew that i wanted to go into the manufacturing industry. I did some research and there are a few different programs at different community colleges that I looked at but found that Clackamas Community College was the best fit for me. All my instructors have years in the industry and the equipment that is available to us to learn from is amazing!

I have taken a couple online courses in my first year and have found the experience great. I was apprehensive at first because it was very different then traditional classroom learning. The instructors made it very easy to communicate with them and the lesson plans were easy to understand and complete. I give it a B+ just because i would rather learn in the classroom but would recommend to anyone.

I am going to learn to program and run CNC machines. At CCC we have a lot of great equipment to learn on and all the computer aided design software to learn and help prepare me for the real world jobs. The curriculum has been very focused for my major and the workload gets heavy at times but that's normal for my major.
College Senior 2013-09-18T19:07:34Z
I have completed 1 year in my 2 year coarse at CCC and my teachers have been amazing! Very helpful and knowledgeable on the courses and all posses real world knowledge of the manufacturing industry. Lesson plans are very informative and have helped me maintain a 4.0 GPA because of how clear the messages are and the amount of time available to get help from teachers.

CCC has many unique ways to attend class. There is an extensive online selection of classes as well as night classes and hybrid classes. Hybrid classes are cool because some of the class in completed in the classroom in a traditional setting, the rest is online or via TV broadcasts. The flexibility of online classes is also great.

The computer labs are large enough that I have never had to wait to use a computer. The cost of printing and making copies is also reasonable. The network reliability and speed however is what makes this grade a B+ rather than an A. If an individual is on the network during "high traffic" times, the network is slow.

There are Campus Resources in multiple areas, other than the main Oregon City campus. There are campuses in SE Portland/Clackamas and Wilsonville. The Wilsonville campus has a good size computer lab/testing area, and the individuals that work at this campus are very helpful.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
