  • Claflin does not have 100 percent wireless Internet access.

Tips to Succeed
  • Avoid procrastination and do not miss any deadlines. Once an assignment is given, try to start on it immediately.
  • Be active on and off campus—it will be helpful when applying for internships.
  • Check your school e-mail daily. The University relies heavily on its e-mail system to communicate with students on a constant basis. Students can miss out on important opportunities if they do not check regularly.
  • Consult your academic adviser on a regular basis.
  • Do not plagiarize. The school has a zero-tolerance policy if you are caught cheating.

Nothing for Christ

To be real, there is nothing Christian on the campus. I see the AKAs, Omegas, or the Kappas doing something of whatever and everybody flock to that. However, when some students host a Christian event, for example, like a mixer, mini concerts, or revival, only the students that set it up, along with a few friends come to it. In reality, Jesus Christ is not valued nor considered worthy on Claflin's campus. Most students, if not, every student at Claflin say they are Christian, however, most to them are fake and don't live by the standards of Christ.
