College Prowler Take
Drug use is not a huge problem here at Clark Atlanta University.Students who choose not to smoke marijuana at Clark Atlanta University are never pressured or put down for choosing to stay away from this drug. Clark Atlanta University will make a home for the student that chooses to participate in the weed set and the student who likes to get their natural high off of life itself.
Liquor is the true king when it comes to prevalent drugs that are supposed to be banned on campus. Liquor is not a hard thing to obtain at Clark Atlanta University because other students are so willing to lend a helping hand. Students usually don’t like going to the club totally sober, so a lot of the underage students get some of the upperclassmen who are living on campus to go purchase them liquor from the local corner store. Due to the administration’s strict policies, it is not advised to bring any type of liquor onto campus. Regardless of policy, it is not very difficult to sneak a bottle of red Mad Dog 20/20 (or any form of liquor) onto campus grounds. Clark Atlanta University is definitely not a school for students that are into study drugs, prescription drugs, or cocaine. Clark Atlanta University has extremely rare cases of reports of study drugs or prescription drug usage, and even rarer are reports of cocaine or crack usage.

Other than weed, I don’t think...
Other than weed, I don’t think people really use any other drugs. I find weed to be a good source of creativity. I think I will continue to smoke weed until I get into my third year of college. Mother Earth put weed here, and I refuse to disrespect Mother Earth by not smoking. |

Transferring from a white school...
Transferring from a white school to Clark Atlanta University I found that the white students are far more prone to using cocaine, heroin, and prescription drugs, while blacks are more prone to marijuana and liquor. All this being said, I am proud that I made my transfer because, even though I don’t use any drugs, I’ve seen how heroin messes with the minds of some people, and it’s a scary environment to be in. |

The weed man has a full-time job on campus; weed is its own economy. A lot of these weed sellers pay their way through school by selling weed. |

Students at Clark Atlanta don’t...
Students at Clark Atlanta don’t get into that prescription drug stuff. Anyone who comes to college and does anything to disrupt their main purpose of being here is an absolute lamewade. I’ve seen a few lamewades drop out of college on that bull, and I’m pretty sure that there will be more. |

None of the people I hang out with...
None of the people I hang out with smoke or use any other kind of drugs. There are many people that get into weed and alcohol at Clark, but they are avoidable if that’s not really your kind of crowd. Some of my classmates probably smoke and drink, but they’re still good people. I just choose to hang with people who don’t do drugs so I won’t ever feel pressured. |
