Six Flags? That sounds like a TON of fun! What are the parties and other events like? I'm hopefully going there in the fall of 2014, and i'll be coming from Vegas ...

Atlanta is filled with colleges and people who love to have fun. On campus, there is always something to do. Every weekend there is somewhere to go and a party to attend. Most parties have a specific theme, such as a Toga Party or a Halloween-themed party. There are even music genre-themed parties that focus on particular genres of music, such as reggae vs. go-go. Most freshmen choose to attend parties that provide shuttle buses that take you to the venue and back to campus. They are very convenient but can get rather crowded at times.
Most clubs are 18 and older, but there are a few that require you to be 21 or older. The 21+ clubs are located in Midtown and Buckhead. The clubs that allow you to enter at 18 usually prohibit you from drinking if you are underage (under 21). Overall, Atlanta's nightlife is one of a kind. There is always something to do and people to mingle with. However, partying can be dangerous at times, too. Remember to always have a form of identification and be aware of your surroundings. You can never be too safe.
