Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Freshman students that are accustomed to certain weather conditions should be prepared to get a taste of all four seasons. In Atlanta, the fall typically carries a hot to warm temperature that usually forces students to have a few T-shirts and shorts in their wardrobe. The best way to deal with warm fall weather is to drink plenty of water and take advantage of the air-conditioned rooms that Clark Atlanta offers. The winter weather can be a bit tricky in that some days it is blazing hot and the next day it’s barely 40 degrees outside. During the beginning of the winter, the mornings will be cold, but later in the day it will be hot, so most students bring coats that they can easily take off as the progresses.

Like many places in the Southeast, Atlanta is not prepared for snow, and if this phenomenon occurs, be prepared for the city to shut down. The spring has got to be the most annoying season Atlanta has because of the overabundance of rain. Clark Atlanta students should invest in a good umbrella because there will be plenty of days that it will be a lifesaver to fancy hairdos and expensive clothing. The summer is hot; nothing more, nothing less. Atlanta is a college student’s dream town because it offers a bearable amount of every kind of weather. Prospective students should be warned that Atlanta has almost consistently ranked number one in cities that are the worst for allergies. Overall, Atlanta weather is great, especially compared to other places where climates and temperatures can get extreme.

Georgia Weather's Affect on Clark Atlanta University's Campus

I love the weather in Georgia! A normal day in Georgia would be 70 degrees are higher with sunshine. The local weather affects my campus experience in a positive way because with nice weather I always want to be involved in events taken place on campus.

CRAZY ATLANTA WEATHER

The weather here is crazy. It will be 80 degrees outside and rain all within 2 hours out here. The weather usually never has a bad affect on campus. Classes still resume. Parties still go on. Meeting still meet.

Mixed and Always Changing

From what I am used to, the weather in Atlanta is a little bi-polar. One day it is extremely cold and then a couple of days later it's extremely hot.
