The nightlife at Clark can provide any person with a decent time if they are willing to do a little work. Clark parties and the bars near campus tend to become part of a routine that repeats in some form or another from the first weekend until the last, but some good friends and footwork can help anyone have a better time. Worcester has plenty to do for people of any age and interest. If you are under 21, you can still hang out in most of the same bars and clubs that everyone else can—you will just pay a little more. If you don’t want to be around an alcohol-saturated environment, there are bowling alleys, late movies, coffeehouses, and all-ages concerts all within walking distance or a short bus/cab/car ride.
It's true that the parties and bars around campus can get pretty lame, and the downtown clubs are not for everyone and can even tend to get a bit sketchy. But, when all else fails, students can take advantage of the Worcester-Boston-Providence triangle and head out of town to party for a few hours. If staying on campus is more your scene, chances are that one of Clark’s more than 70 student organizations is throwing a LAN-party, dance, movie night, poker tournament, or is at least giving out some free food.
