College Prowler Take

Worcester is like a typical New England town in that it experiences the extremes of all four seasons. The winter gets freezing cold, the summer gets burning hot, and the in-betweens can be full of beautiful sites of changing leaves or budding flowers. They can also be days of abrasive winds and pouring rains. You should bring everything in your arsenal to defend against the elements, and make sure to do a lot more research into the weather if you are from an area that does not have large seasonal changes.

One particularly important piece of weather-combat machinery for Clark would be an air conditioner. The summer air in the city can get immensely humid, and the temperature can often be in the 90s. Clark won’t let you have one on campus without a doctor’s note, but if you plan to sublet or live off campus, then an air conditioner is a must have. Winters are better spent on campus, as the dorms seem to retain heat in excess. It may be freezing outside, but if you’re in a Clark residence hall, you can plan on sweating while it snows.

It's typical New England weather—sunny one day, snowing the next. Bring a mix of clothing—T-shirts for the fall and spring, but warm coats and hats for the winter.

There is amazing weather at the end of summer going into fall—it's warm and beautiful. Winter, however is a different story in Worcester. I enjoy the winter, so it is not a problem for me, but many people find it too cold and snowy. There are definitely days that nobody wants to go out.

Clark is in New England, so bring clothing for every weather scenario you can think of. The summer and beginning of fall are hot and humid, and winters are especially cold. Worcester is known for having some of the worst weather in Massachusetts.

Winter is very, very cold in Massachusetts, especially in Worcester. The city gets a lot of snow, so it would be wise to bring snow boots and heavy jackets. It can also be humid during the warmer months, so you should basically bring every kind of clothing you can think of. The seasons in Massachusetts are pretty blatant.
