Worcester is like a typical New England town in that it experiences the extremes of all four seasons. The winter gets freezing cold, the summer gets burning hot, and the in-betweens can be full of beautiful sites of changing leaves or budding flowers. They can also be days of abrasive winds and pouring rains. You should bring everything in your arsenal to defend against the elements, and make sure to do a lot more research into the weather if you are from an area that does not have large seasonal changes.
One particularly important piece of weather-combat machinery for Clark would be an air conditioner. The summer air in the city can get immensely humid, and the temperature can often be in the 90s. Clark won’t let you have one on campus without a doctor’s note, but if you plan to sublet or live off campus, then an air conditioner is a must have. Winters are better spent on campus, as the dorms seem to retain heat in excess. It may be freezing outside, but if you’re in a Clark residence hall, you can plan on sweating while it snows.
