I received a fair amount of financial aid. The process is smooth as day and is easy to deal with. The people working their are always helpful

All personnel in the financial aid department were very helpful in getting any information I needed. Responses to e-mails were immediate or as soon as possible. My only issue was wording questions in such a way as to get all the information the first time rather than asking multiple mini-questions to get the big picture.

There are plenty of scholarship opportunities if you know where to look. For in- state students, HOPE, Zell Miller, and Pell Grant will pay for most of the expenses. For incoming freshmen there is the Presidential Scholarship which is the full-ride. And for incoming freshmen and juniors, the honors program gives some scholarships. Financial Aid will work with students and work study is an option for most.

I received all the financial aid offered but was uneducated about the limitation. I do not have enough money to continue my education without paying out of pocket which I can not afford on my salary. Educate yourself and use your financial aid wisely. I used my fund wisely but should not have taken classes for upper levels until I received my degree first. Now I do not have the funds to complete my education.

The financial aid staff was very helpful and friendly. My advice is to APPY EARLY.
