Health & Safety:
Clemson University is a very safe campus. We have our own campus police, campus fire station, and campus patrol during the night. Also, the Clemson city police are minutes away. Clemson police are very concerned with the safety of the students.

The surrounding area of Clemson is an outdoorsman's dream with the lake and mountains nearby. The city of Clemson is not very large, but it has everything you need, from restaurants to recreation. Clemson is very much a college town, where the students make up most of the population.

The life of a Clemson student is beyond awesome!!! I thought I was going to be homesick my freshman year and I was totally wrong! They make you feel welcome by casual hello's from strangers. Chivalry is great here. 85% of the time, a door was held open for me and the remaining percent was when I wanted to open the door myself. We love Jesus and we are not ashamed to tell you that we do, which is what I adore about Clemson. Overall, great school with a great atmosphere.

Our school practically has our own downtown which is filled with restaurants to choose from! Cost is affordable and there are some fancy restaurants for those moments you would like to take someone out on a date or for someone to take you out on a date. Perfect combination! Go to the BGR ( the Burger Joint) first...you'll thank me later.

When is comes to Clemson, you have to honestly make sure your financial aid is accurate. Sometimes during my process, I had to call numerous times about my aid and some of those calls weren't pretty, which was unexpected. You have to be on your A game about your money when you go through the process here.

Health & Safety:
Clemson University is very aware about our eating habits by serving healthier options in the cafeteria which are very delicious. If you get hurt, the health center is there for you upon appointment unless emergency. Just be sure to ask for a doctor's note from there to get an excused absence if you schedule an appointment during a class. Campus Security is visible and does not have problems with you unless you have a problem abiding the law, which is understandable.

Clemson University are extremely serious when it comes to academics, especially when it comes to their core major, Engineering, which is also my major. It is indeed a hassle doing the work but it is worth it because when you apply to jobs, the person reading over your resume and application will most definitely be impressed because they know how prestige Clemson is. Totally worth it! :)

I came to Clemson University because of the engineering program. The campus is great, but the professors are somewhat difficult. But hey, that's Clemson for you! They know this too which is why tutors are available daily and also they have counselors for those stressed out moments during the semester. They have great balance so I know that they care about the students, which is why I am glad to be a student there.

We do receive a good bit of rain at Clemson, but I enjoy that because it makes the campus beautiful. The temperature can get pretty hot during the summer, but not unbearably so.

Parking stickers are over $100 per year, and spaces are still difficult to find on campus. There are plenty of commuter spaces, but they are all on the outskirts of campus.

Clemson is mostly a football school. A great deal of passion goes into the football program, and the athletics department accommodates students very well. Our basketball program is down, but a great deal of students still go to games and show support. Our baseball team is generally pretty good, but the stadium is far from most of campus, and it is difficult to walk there.

Clemson University is considered one of the happiest campuses. The people here are very friendly and have great southern hospitality. Our school is very clean and neat. We have a downtown area where students and faculty love to eat and shop. We are in a great location because we are only two hours away from Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. Students love to visit other places during the weekends. The campus is very safe; the police department looks out for the students. Students living on campus can get a free ride to their dorm anytime after 6PM. The sports/recreational center, Fike, is another great atmosphere. Ladies and gentlemen love to work out here after they settle down. Students get along well at Clemson.

The instructors and Professors here are very helpful at Clemson. They have different office hours to meet with them if you have any questions or need a better understanding of the subject. We also have an Academic Success Center that offers free tutoring for courses. Most students who attend this succeed in the class. Clemson also offers supplementary instruction. That is when a student who makes an A in a course tutors the current students. The advisers are also ready to assist students in need. The registration process is simple and is determined by class. Students can study abroad, have access to internships, and more.

I am very satisfied with the College of Business and Behavior Sciences program at Clemson University. I am a Business major seeking to go into Management. Our college offers a mentoring program where students can pair up with a Clemson graduate and that graduate will give them advice on their major. For example, I am looking to go into Management, therefore, I would most likely be paired with a Manager. He or she would explain to me what they do and how did their get their job, etc. The Career Center and Office of Student Enrichment seeks to help the students find jobs and internships. It is very helpful.

Everyone in Clemson, SC loves the athletics department. Our football team makes the state very proud. The Head Coach is a wonderful man who loves Clemson and his team. It's not just football with great coaches, all of the sports have a great staff. The fans come out and support all sports. Sports are a big deal at Clemson University. Intramural sports are also a big deal at Clemson.

My undergraduate program was excellent. I found what I love and am returning years later to pursue a graduate degree. Great school, professors and programs, good learning environment.

Good dining halls, variety of food options, good food. Accommodating for special needs diets.

Greek life is apart of the Clemson social life, but ins't the whole reason of why people come here. Many people who enroll in Clemson are in frats, but they don't alienate from people who aren't in frats. Although some of the larger greek parties are exclusively for greek members only, most of the time everyone is invited. Its ran very well.

Clemson has a great, fun, and unique atmosphere. During game day the stadium and streets are packed with orange wearing tiger fans. Everyone is friendly and wants to meet you and be friends. Clemson is nestled in the mountains and this location offers something for everyone, wether is hiking, fishing, or just relaxing. Clemson is a great place to be in.

The computer labs are great. The printing is simple and very convenient. The computers work very well most of the times though the wireless network could use some work. It tends to be slow and occasionally will drop. It is a very good idea to have a personal computer or printer.

Parking is terrible. There are very few parks available and parking permits can be expensive. Also, if it is your first year once you read the pamphlet you get once you buy your permit, read it immediately. Because one small mistake could land you a ticket with parking services (they are ruthless). If you commute get to campus like 30 minutes before class so you can find a park and get to where your class is because most likely you will have to park far off out of the way and will have to catch the bus to get to class.
College Senior 2013-05-31T21:35:10Z
Depending on where you live the on campus bus may or may not be convenient. when I lived in the on campus apartments (Lightsey) the bus was so very useful while when I lived almost in the middle of campus (McCabe) the bus was useless because it didn't run anywhere near my classes. Then when transit starts running around 5 occasionally it is useful depending on who is taking calls and driving. You can be waiting for a ride anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Transit is the most useful of on campus transportation.
College Senior 2013-05-31T21:28:52Z
Clemson spends a lot of money on Athletics and Athletes get a lot of special attention and treatment. In my opinion the rest of academics just gets thrown under the bus when it comes to athletes. They get new facilities, better food, more money overall their quality of life on campus is way better than being a student, in my humble opinion. But I digress, going to sporting events is something every student should do because all of the school spirit is electrifying! The athletics at Clemson is awesome.

Most frats are open to visitors as long as you have girls with you. Frat parties rage and everybody is cool and isn't afraid to let loose. 10/10 for parties.
College Student 2013-05-31T15:10:32Z
$24,000 is a lot of money over 4 years, but when tuition is upwards of $30k a year, it does not really help out that much.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
