Civil Engineering Program – I really enjoy civil engineering and I would do it again. The professors are very helpful and the classes are challenging and complete. You learn a lot from them. My career goals are to graduate with a bachelor's and then go back for a master's. I have little concern for finding a job.

Engineering Interships – My internship was very helpful and it gave me a good idea of real world conditions. I would recommend that anyone try to find one. The pay was very good ($15 per hour) and the time commitment was just like a regular job. My responsibility level was based on my experience level so it wasn't much. Overall, very satisfied.

The dining halls on campus are pretty good. The only problem is that they tend to serve the same thing every day. However, the dining halls to have some nights where there are themes like carnival food or baseball food.

The computer labs are good. If you have to print, though, it will cost.

Personally, I don't believe the campus is very strict. Any violence that occurs is quickly handled and students are notified about any campus threats immeadiately.

Clemson offers a lot of programs and they have good facilities to help you.

Fake Ids Are Easy to Come by – Its rather easy to get into bars and such with a fake ID if youre under 21

So Much to Do for a Country Town – All thought Clemson is deep in the country, the on campus activities can really keep you busy. The have man Christian clubs that I am involved in, as well as a drum circle. The students are very friendly with each other. Clemson's sport are outstanding, especially football.

Cat Bus Is Great – The Cat bus runs through campus all day. It is a great way to get around campus. Also, there is a free shuttle service that will pick you up at any time of day. This option is great, especially late at night. Clemson's transportation options are fantastic

Health & Safety:
Very Safe – Clemson is a very safe place to be. The fact that the university is in a pure college town really helps. Unlike other colleges in big cities, most of the people on campus are students. With the strong academic standard at Clemson, most of the students are very focused on school and cause little trouble.

There is no place I'd rather be on a fall saturday than Clemson, SC. On this day, fans from all around the state come to support their Tigers at Death Valley. Clemson also has an impressive athletic center and many Christian organizations that are truly a blessing to me.

At Clemson sports are a very big deal. There is always a great atmosphere on game day weekend with tons of school spirit. The athletic facilities for the college sports are top notch. The facilities for students are nice as well. They offer quite the variety of classes from Zumba to cycling.

I Love Nursing! I transferred into Nursing after being in biological sciences. I wish I would have started in Nursing to begin with. I absolutely love the major. You aren't just learning a vast supply of knowledge, but also receiving hands-on experience during clinical and lab!

Great Program! I am in the Nursing Program at Clemson and love how I take all my classes with the same group of Nursing Majors. The faculty is great and very willing to work with students regardless of their status in the class. The curriculum is difficult and the workload in certain semesters is quite overwhelming at times, but I have learned so much!

Fairly Competitive and Complicated Process – The Nursing program is very competitive at Clemson as they only accept a set number of freshmen students and transfer students. You must have all the pre-requirements completed prior to transferring into the program and you can only apply to transfer at certain times. A high GPA is essential to transferring into the program.

Business as Usual – Although Clemson is an engineering school, the business school provides so many great opportunities for networking, in-depth and detailed classes, manageable workload, a great career center, and to top it all off the Business center is being completely rebuilt.

Great Classes, Great Professors. Although I have only spent two semesters at Clemson, I have yet to find a professor I found to be uninterested in helping his/her students take away as much as possible from a class.

Individual Groups – Transferring from College of Charleston where everyone seems to be united by the beach was a strange transition to the ways of Clemson. Many students at Clemson seem to hang out specifically with people in their major, their small friend group, or only with others in their own soriority or fraternity. Clemson student diversity acceptance is a challenge they are slowly overcoming.

Average Computer Quality – With Cooper library providing plenty of computers there is only overcrowding during midterms and finals. There are fast, reliable, and limited Macs and plenty of PCs. Problems with the PCs include slow start up and occasional crashing. Overall the computers work averagely efficiently but one may run into problems here and there.

Small Town College – Basically the only things you'll see here are the bars. Which are only fun if you are 21 and then even after that it can get monotonous.

Everyone Here Is Beautiful – This is probably the most attractive school in the state. No joke.

Unfortunately, there are no rainbow passes for parking, so you have to purchase the appropriate decal and park in the correct lot, unless you don't mind the whopping tickets, ranging from $15-$115. They let you appeal your cases, but I firmly believe that they are trying to squeeze money out of us. They are very quick at catching mistakes if you make them. My cousin got ticketed for no definite reason, even though he followed the rules. It's too inconvenient to park in parking lots that are nowhere close to your classes.

There are a lot of different restaurants off of 123 which is right next to Clemson's campus. There is a variety of different ethnic foods. Atami Express is my favorite; it is a "fast food" Japanese restaurant but it is healthy and relatively cheap.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
