Clemson University has a real diverse campus. There are many people from different ethical backgrounds and from different heritages. It is very easy to find someone that posses the same values and beliefs as you do.

Nightlife is great a clemson- bars and clubs in downtown clemson are the place to be if youre legal- however, if youre under age, there is sure to be a house/apartment party nearby. Clemson provides a valet bus service that you can call to get a ride back from a party so you dont even have to worry about getting home from a bar/partu

Football season is the main attraction of clemson fans; the campus population triples during games- most alumni remain loyal to the team and pay big money to come to games. football season is an important event to almost all clemson students- students get a free ticket to home games- so almost all students attend; school spirit is strong at clemson. FIKE athletic facility includes a pool, full gym, basketball, rock climbing wall, etc. to all students; clemson also has many intramural sports teams

Guys & Girls:
there is basically a girl for every kind of guy; if you go out to bars or other social events on campus you will find a girl that you identify with- i have no complaints- from southern belles to northern girls, clemson has it all

A Lot of School Pride. a Lot. and for Good Reason. After visiting several of my friends' school in NC, VA, and SC, Clemson has, by far, the most school pride whether you like it or not. Everything in the city of Clemson is orange or purple. At least 30% of students on campus will be dressed in Clemson clothing on any given day. Football season is, for a lot of people, the most exciting thing about Clemson. In exchange for all this pride (and tuition money), Clemson takes good care of it's students. Offering easy and affordable 5-year master's programs for a growing number of majors, a ton of help finding internships and jobs, and both a faculty and administration that stay involved positively in every student's academic life.

I only had a meal plan my freshman year, because I've preferred cooking for myself off-campus to campus dining. As far as convenience and variety goes, Clemson does a pretty good job. There are two major dining halls, a smaller one located in one of the dorms, several on-campus convenience stores, and several canteens where one can purchase chain food, such as Pizza Hut, Burger King, or Chik-fil-a. You get what you expect from the dining halls, mediocre food and service. Some of the servers are extremely friendly while others are down right ass*****.

Health & Safety:
Criminals Beware – Clemson has an extremely safe campus. Because it's in a rural area and college town, you don't have to worry about the crime that comes with the more urban-based colleges. The college makes an admirable attempt to keep students safe, too. There are these large, blue-lit call boxes located virtually all over campus to make emergency calls, and there is a shuttle service that runs until 3 in the morning every day of the week that picks students up anywhere on campus so no girl ever needs to walk alone at night. There are campus police present too.

Sucks to suck – Everyone supports the teams and there's a lot school spirit, but honestly the teams aren't producing. Agree Its going to get bad if we have another losing football season.

Town is way too small, if no good parties are happening everyone heads out of town.

Guys & Girls:
Random hookups – Lot of hook ups. Id be afraid of catching something. It's not just girls it's guys too.

Literally a shoe box

There isn't any – Don't expect a lot. Frat parties are ok in the beginning but idk how many more times i'm going to want to get dressed up for a themed mixer

Going downhill fast...unless football starts winning no ones going to want to come here
College Senior 2011-02-13T18:29:49Z
There's Really Nothing Else to Do – I wish I had known there is really nothing else going on except frat parties. There is no nightlife downtown,it's kind of a joke. I'm seriously considering transferring.....Tired of seeing the same people everywhere I go.

Highpoint is a great off campus place to live as long as you are not in bridge the bridge to clemson program is stricted and exensive.

Guys & Girls:
Lot of northerners – Wasn't like that when I started and I guess it's good for diversity but it's getting to be a culture shock.

Wish there was more to do. By junior senior year you are ready to visit friends elsewhere or graduate...

By your junior year it feels claustrophobic. Not a lot to do and by now frat parties are getting old...wish we had more options downtown. You can travel to other schools to find more to do though.

What Gets Seen – If you are not obnoxious or blatant about anything you wont get caught, os if you are going to have a rave have it at your friends house, cause when you are caught the punishments are fairly strict

Print Quota – there are plenty of printers to choose from all around campus, the only down side is you have to pay to print and it only takes your tigerstripe account (clemson student card)

Great Atmosphere, Small Town – The town is full of nice people and the downtown area has a decent set up of shop and places to go for the night, but after a year you will probably see everything that you wanted to see. sports are great, just be ready for some disappointments

Alot of paper work and hoops to jump through. Trying to do school and find financial aid is difficult, not alot of free time to do all the financial aid that is needed, in order to qualify for help.
College Senior 2011-02-08T11:03:25Z
There is plenty of parking availability and public transportion is good.

The school automatically puts students up for their in house scholarships, the website is easy to navigate, and the people are easy to deal with.
