Beautiful Fall and Spring Months – During fall enrollment the weather can be really beautiful, great for outdoor sports, cookouts, evenings downtown, and chilling on bowman field with friends. It can get hot at times but for the most part the weather is wonderful, and it really plays a big part in the beauty of the campus.

Guys & Girls:
Diverse, but a Good Bit of Good Looking People – Most of the people here at Clemson has played a sport or is currently participating in intramural sports, so everyone is pretty fit and good looking bodies. When hot the girls lay out in two main areas in bathing suits. There are a lot of good looking women here as well!

Extra Help Available When Needed – The thing that I like about Clemson is that they have extra help and tutors available all over, ranging from the library to SI instructors in special classrooms after hours.

Strictness Policies – I am not fully aware of the strictness policies because I am not associated with any of those activites. However, because I do not find illegal activities to be prevalent I am sure that it is strict

Drugs Are Not Prevalent – I have never come into contact with drugs at Clemson nor have I been pressured to participate in any illegal activites. I feel very safe and comfortable at Clemson

Apartment Living – There are many apartment complexes very close to campus. There are waiting lists for some of the complexes or housing communities but it is not hard to find one that is available. The price can be very expensive if you choose to do so but it is not hard to find a more affordable option

Clemson is an all-around great school. The classes are fun and interesting. The professors are very approachable and seem to actually care about the students. Students also love to help each other if they can.

Wifi Found Everywhere – I love that anywhere you go, you can still find the internet. Its comforting to know that you can connect online anywhere on campus. The internet is fast and reliable. Printers can be found everywhere and some can be used wirelessly.

The Perfect Variety – There is a wide spectrum of eating choices. Anything from fast food to upscale sit-down dining is found. I personally love a good homestyle meal and mexican food.

Clemson's main street with all the restaraunts and bars have people elbow to elbow on any given weekend night. for students that are 21 or older there are at least 15 bars to go to there.

Average University – Clemson is much like lots of big universities in that there are a good many foreign students and different races. being in the south most students are republican or democrat.

The Campus Is Wonderful and the Academic Buildings Are Great – Clemson's campus is beautiful with lots of grass and trees. The big field, bowman field, in the center of campus is a great place to exercise and hang out with friends. The library is huge with tons of resources and knowldgeable staff. Every thing is close by such as places to eat and shop. Also, the campus being located right on Lake Hartwell is awsome for me because I love to boat and Fish.

I dislike the fact that freshman are required to stay on campus, but the housing process is easy and quick, and the freshman dorms are decent.

Great variety of good-tasting and healthy choices.

A Great Place – Clemson offers the bests of all worlds. There's greek life, social scenes, places to party, and to study. There really is always something going on and plenty of alternatives if you're not into partying. People aren't too judging if you're not a partier which makes the student population all still pretty cohesive.

There Is Always Something Going on – Clemson offers a downtown with great food, drinks and atmospheres. Even if there aren't a lot of people out, there is usually something to do at different apartments

Be forewarned! To start off, I am from the north and a much different and liberal environment. I am also gay, which has greatly affected my first year at Clemson. I love Clemson- the weather, the school, my classes, my friends, it really is a great school. But I will be honest that coming into Clemson I didn't know what to expect. I find myself actually more of a conservative, which definitely helped in acclimating to my new home and making friends. It is hard though. People are not accepting, if you are openly gay prepare to feel like you are a minority and do not belong. There is almost nothing to do on the weekends, besides pre-game, but then I kind of have to make my own fun while my friends are at frats. In retrospect, I really do love it, but I wish I had been forewarned. If you are gay and looking to meet guys and have fun on the weekends, don't choose Clemson. You will stick out like a sore thumb and it really sucks. 14th most conservative public institution and the student body is proud of it.

There is freshman parking available in the Pit (aka R-1). I think parking spaces are available if you need it and costs appear to be fair. There is everything you need on campus so a car isn't a necessity if you don't have one. Parking services does go after people who park illegally but that's just what people get for parking in the wrong spots at the wrong time.

Student Involvement: There is somebody at every athletic event. I attended over 35 athletic events this past semester (volleyball, soccer, football, basketball) and there is always someone there. Team Performance: Football team went to the ACC Championship game and basketball team is top 25. Fan Support: Excellent. On football saturdays, fans come in from all over South Carolina, making it the 3rd biggest city in South Carolina (and people start tailgating at 7 AM) School Spirit: Every Friday is Solid Orange Friday day (wear orange or else), school spirit is contagious, people love their teams and the school. Athletic Facilities: Memorial Stadium and Littlejohn Coliseum are great facilities. Fike Recreation Center is a great place for students to work out.

Health & Safety:
I have never felt unsafe at any time (night, morning, during the day) on campus.

It's Great – The CAT bus runs all throughout campus at most times of the day and is free. Also there are vans that can take people anywhere on campus that run after 7 and they are also free.

Absolutley worth it! You have your own room and bathroom (depending on where you live) and more than likely, you sign an individual, nine-month lease, so you don't have to worry about everyone else's rent, only your own! The apartment complexes are full of Clemson students, they provide extra ammentities, and they are never more than a bus ride away!

Guys & Girls:
The guys at Clemson range from typical frat guys with their Lacoste polo, khakis, Sperry's, and sunglasses hanging around their neck; the computer science guys with T-shirts that say "I'm dressed and awake, what more do you want," and laptop in hand; the rednecks/country boys with their camo and Ducks Unlimited apparel; and the average guy that's a mix of it all. The girls here are a mix of Southern belles, sorority snobs, and the best-all-around women with looks and intelligence.

Clemson has great off-campus housing! It's affordable and within reasonable distance to the campus (an average of five miles or less). Just be careful during football season and school breaks; people tend to rob apartments more during this time because they know college students won't be home.

The thing about Clemson is that most people are aware of maybe 1/3 of the labs available on campus. These well-known labs can often times be busy, but you'll become knowledgable on what times are best for which labs. And if you're willing to walk a bit out of the way, you can find these empty labs. But I'd say, if you have a relatively light computer and aren't planning on printing anything out, go ahead and bring your laptop. Especially if you're just going to play around on Facebook, because that causes a lot of frustration to those waiting for computers in labs with homework assignments to print off.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
