The computer labs at Clemson are not as crowded like other campuses because Clemson has so many labs that are set up around campus which makes it easy for students without personal computers to be able to grab a computer during crunch time and wireless connection on campus is becoming more dependable and stronger every day because of the hard working team at CCIT.

Clemson is a small town but it is large enough for students to interact with one another and to share common wealth with Anderson University, Tri-County Tech, and Greenville Tech, whom are all neighboring schools with in an hour of each other and or maybe 15 - 20 mins.

My school's co-op program has allowed me to travel to see how well other schools, facilities, and businesses communicate with one another and to share experiences in the real world and what to look for after graduation and give in site and ideals how i can make a difference.

Student life on campus is like being at home plenty of things to do and people to communicate with and resources to gather information.

Clemson is the best school in the state. The Finance program is very underrated, as it is overshadowed by the College of Engineering.

Parking services are extremely unfriendly and a major pain in the rear. It is often very difficult to find a parking space as a commuter, and the lots are pretty far away from most classes.

The Finance program at Clemson is very good. The professors have a lot of real world experience that I consider to be very important. The curriculum is well rounded and prepares you well for the CFA program and the future in general.

I came to Clemson University because it was the only school in South Carolina that had a Wildlife Biology program. It also offers other unique programs that some university don't offer. All the staff seems very friendly and ready to help no matter what it is. My professors are always on top of things. Even before class has started they will already have a list of things you need for the class so your not scrambling at the last minute.

I am new, so I don't have much experience with the transportation system, but I've heard it is great. It saves you gas on not having to ride around looking for parking spots and runs every 30 mins.

I just arrived at this school, so I don't really know anything about it, but I have heard of it.

There is a lot of fast food. There are some good local places just off campus. A lot of bars and wing places. It all pretty good. I'm personally a big Thai fan and there is one good Thai restaurant but its a bit expensive. There's another one opening up soon though so I'm excited to see what that one is like. It has plenty of the stereotypical variety. Fast food, pizza joints, bars, wings, a chinese buffet and a few hibachi and generic asian cuisine places. It's getting a McAllisters and an Ihop, both of which I'm excited about. The only thing I'm really disappointed in is that there isn't a Krispy Kreme within 30 minutes.

There are a lot of bars near campus so drinking is plentiful. But it depends who you hang around in the long run.

It is a nice mild heat in the summer with lots of rain. But the winters are cold and windy. I grew up in Florida so the winters feel very rough to me. I am always bundled up!

I love my program! All of my professors have Been very accomplished in their fields and are always available to help their students. I have met a lot of very important people in my short time here and I am looking forward to this Fall semester!

Getting accepted into Clemson is a challenge and also a waiting game. You must have good grades and since I am a transfer student you have to pray they accept all of you previous credits. By the grace of The Lord they accepted all my transfer credits without hesitation. The application process is very normal. A tip I would give other students considering applying is to apply even if you don't think you will get in. It's a great place.

Health & Safety:
Very safe and secure campus. There are rape beacons everywhere and a lot of lighting at night on the campus. I feel very safe at Clemson.

Very boring - Clemson is centered around the college.
College Junior 2013-08-11T17:34:09Z
There are plenty of Greek housing and 60% of the Greek housing is off campus. Non-Greek view Greek as snobby and party houses. Don't think they do enough for community and certainly not adding to the school community in a positive way. They are very self centered students.

Guys & Girls:
I noticed that there are a lot of snobs. The snobs are either from rich families or they are students that are going to Clemson because their parents are alumni. The other group are football players - the school has a huge interest in sports. I was very disappointed in this after my first year but now I am just focused to get done and move on.
College Junior 2013-08-11T16:10:24Z
The school is vert strict about alcohol and drugs. We are required to attend a seminar and take an online test regarding underage drinking. Even though the rules are strict the students still find a way to party and drink. I personally don't care either way because I am going to school to get my degree, I don't have time for parties. I don't use drugs or drink.

Health & Safety:
Clemson always has security present, and the fact that the university is basically the town makes me feel even safer. There are barely any crime related incidents on campus, but we always get emails when something happens. We are informed about everything, which I really like.

I am so confused with the whole financial aid process at Clemson. I just don't understand any of it. According to the website, I was entered for a lot of different scholarships after finishing a year, but I don't know if I got any or if I wasn't eligible or what. I don't have any tips because I still can't figure out the process myself.

Greek life is pretty big at Clemson. There are 12 sororities and almost just as many fraternities. The process to get a bid is grueling and, for me, not worth it. There are so many other sports groups, clubs, and activities, though, that it's not necessary to join a sorority just to do anything, and you won't be looked at differently for not joining one.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
