Students at Clemson speak positively of the drug scene. Besides the heavy alcohol consumption, drugs are only available if you’re looking for them. Those people who do drugs don’t tend to pressure those who don’t. Whether you see college as a time of experimentation or as four years with your head in your books, drugs will only influence your life as much as you let them. Mostly alcohol is the most prevalent drug used for recreation. Other than that, I would say some marijuana use, but mostly drinking is the drug of choice at parties.

It all depends on who you hang out...
It all depends on who you hang out with. Drinking is very common. For the most part, pot is the extent of drugs on campus although I have heard of some rare instances with harder drugs.

There is heavy alcohol usage and some other drug use. One can definitely hang around Clemson and never see illegal drug use, and if one really wanted to, even alcohol could be avoided. |
