College Prowler Take
Students at Clemson enjoy going to school with each other. As well as having a lot of “eye candy,” the student body is very hospitable and friendly. Southern “gents” and “belles” are the norm, and the students here take pride in their appearances. Although some say there is a certain degree of superficiality, it certainly isn’t enough to detract from their enthusiastic opinion of the guys and girls at Clemson. Clemson students are very happy with the appearance of their student body and rightfully so. Clemson has a good mix of southerners and northerners, and it’s encouraging how well everyone gets along. It is even rumored that once the weather gets warm in March, class attendance for males seems to reach an unusual high. Coincidentally, the number of females sunbathing on Bowman Field also reaches an annual high. Students Speak Out

The guys at Clemson range from...
The guys at Clemson range from typical frat guys with their Lacoste polo, khakis, Sperry's, and sunglasses hanging around their neck; the computer science guys with T-shirts that say "I'm dressed and awake, what more do you want," and laptop in hand; the rednecks/country boys with their camo and Ducks Unlimited apparel; and the average guy that's a mix of it all. The girls here are a mix of Southern belles, sorority snobs, and the best-all-around women with looks and intelligence. |

Your typical guy and girl at Clemson are attractive and Southern. But everyone here, despite where one is from, loves to have a good time and has a good healthy balance between work and play. |

It all breaks down to the North and South: You’ve got the Southern gentlemen who wear khakis and a golf shirt, and the Northern guys who wear jeans and a T-shirt. Then you’ve got the Southern belles who wear cute dresses and skirts, and the Northern chicks who wear jeans and cute shirts. |

There are all kinds of people at...
There are all kinds of people at Clemson. The Greek scene is pretty prominent, so there are a lot of the stereotypical sorority girls and frat guys. Other than that there is a pretty big variety of personalities, looks, and interests. Most people are from South Carolina, but there seems to be a good portion of students from New Jersey. There is no typical student at Clemson, but it seems that everyone can find a group that fits them. |

Social Scene
There's something for everyone, but binge drinking is definitely the most popular. Students flock to College Avenue, which runs through downtown Clemson, on Friday and Saturday nights to go to the bars. Sports team parties and Greek parties also occur weekly, at the very least. In general, students at Clemson are very outgoing and love to party.
Hookups or Relationships?
Clemson is home to many attractive men and women. If you don’t have a partner, you’re sure to find someone among Clemson’s 13,000 undergrads.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
Off-campus parties, classes, student clubs/organizations, bars and restaurants downtown, and dormitories are all great places to meet students with similar interests.
Dress Code
There is no set dress code, but this is what the majority of guys and girls wear: For guys – Rainbow sandals, Polo shirts, sunglasses with "the strap," and John Deere hats For girls – Dresses, skirts, sorority T-shirts, flip-flops
