Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

CAT buses are the most useful public transportation resource in the Clemson area. The buses run regularly everywhere in the area, and students find them to be reliable and convenient. Students give the public transportation so much
praise that they say cars are unnecessary at Clemson.

With such a good bus system, having a car is not necessary and only brings on additional costs and liabilities. The buses go anywhere you will ever need to be in the local area, and best of all, it’s free. With such a difficult parking situation on campus, riding on the CAT will save you time and, more importantly, money.

Magic School Bus

You can always find the university transportation system available till around 2am. It has become our designated driver on crazy nights and is commonly referred to as the official "drunk bus". The transportation is also helpful for students who live off-campus. It comes to most of the big apartment complexes every so often during the hour.

Learn to Use the Catbus

Clemson students all pay in their tuition for the public transportation system of buses that run all through the campus and to almost all of the off campus apartment complexes. Therefore, the transportation in this town for the students is wonderful; however, the students must learn to take advantage of this system as many still opt to drive their own cars to school.
