Can't Beat It!

The weather here rocks! Yes it's hot in the summer, but there are two lakes nearby and plenty of pools at the off campus apartments to cool you down! Fall and Spring are beautiful - with the plentiful trees, the colors during these seasons can't be beat! You do need a bit of everything when it comes to clothes, as there is plenty of rain in the spring, heat in the summer and chilly nights and days in the fall and winter. And did I mention every fall the Clemson Tigers play football! You just can't get a better experience with a fall football game, tailgating and a gorgeous fall day.

Beautiful Places and Smiling Faces

South Carolina's state motto is "Beautiful Places and Smiling Faces" and Clemson is definitely full of both. Clemson weather is typical of the south. The summers are hot; fall and spring are warm (around 70s); and winters are mild. We occasionally get snow, but it is rare.

Lake Weather

In the spring, summer and fall there is no shortage of days you can head out to the lake. Of course there are the rainy days but it never fails to have multiple beautiful weekends to head out, enjoy the football game, and then tailgate on the lake after! The winters can be rough but the worst part is during Christmas break when students aren't around.
