There is not a lot within a close walking distance
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:43:04Z
It's not taken as seriously as it should be
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:42:14Z
Some of the newly renovated rooms are nice but students are often cramped into forced triples with low ceilings

Health & Safety:
Students get carried away on nights hey party
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:38:04Z
A lot of things go unnoticed or are not properly taken care of
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:36:48Z
It's in a town that closes early not much goes on
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:33:58Z
It's very costly, and circumstances for me have changed
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:33:26Z
There is not a lot of healthier options. The same thing is served repeatedly. Focus is more on presentation than taste
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:32:09Z
It's just very costly. There is little cell coverage and slow wireless connections.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:30:57Z
The wifi sometimes does not even connect to your device at all. When it does connect some pages do not load.

Colby sawyer is trying to go green. There are monitors in each building about energy use and over 400 solar panels on campus.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T15:27:24Z
Slightly warmer here than where I am from
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:56:22Z
Health & Safety:
the health building is great and they do a great job with everything to a cold to plan b. although it does cost 10 dollars every time you go. the campus safety is just kind of there but does not do anything unless you ask them a question. it is a very safe place though

My major is exercise science. the workload actually isnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be, but i am a freshman. the larger internship opportunities are given to good students and the rest are basically given crappy local internships that dont really do much. the training rooms are nice and so are the labs for chemistry, bio, etc.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:54:04Z
the professors that i have had are all very nice and understanding. they know everyone by name and are great at what they do. the curriculum is good as long as you enjoy your major but the gen eds suck if you dont like the topic. the registration process is easy but can be stressful when you have to register because you dont know if you will get the spot. the library is a popular place here although i do not use it. they do have a great academic help center as well
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:49:50Z
it is warm in the summer but once november hits it is 20 or colder until the spring. very frustrating when walking to class
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:49:04Z
there is no greek life
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:48:12Z
i have never taken the transportation but the fact that i do not know how to tells me it can be difficult.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:47:13Z
The amount of varsity sports here is mediocre. there is no football team or lax team but there is a soccer team. I would say not many people attend the athletics and mostly everyone does intramurals. in fact i have seen more people get into intramurals over varsity sports. the gym is small but works for the size of the school and the equipment is good enough as long as you know what you are doing.

Guys & Girls:
The girls here are not the most attractive and it is hard to find a good looking one never mind actually meeting them. everyone wheres uggs and yoga pants per usual in the winter hahaha. the guys that i know i cant stand. they are rich snobs that love to show their money and are very cocky.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:42:14Z
I would give it two and a half stars. the rooms are definitely bigger than your traditional room especially for the doubles and triples. There is even a few quads with their own bathrooms. but the smell in the older buildings is consistently terrible. the bathroom cleanliness is ok. they are cleaned daily. there are a few people that keep their doors open but it is pretty much quiet and boring the entire time. as far as the process it is all based off grades for where you end up.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:39:21Z
There is nothing to do here. There are some duplex parties every weekend but you have to know someone to get in which is difficult because of the cliqueyness of this school. There were less cliques in my high school. There are no bars or clubs and everything is within walking distance but it sucks when it gets cold out.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:37:21Z
I would say it is average. If you need a computer then you should be able to find one in the library or in another academic building. The printing costs about 15 to 25 cents depending on the size of the paper. The internet is unreliable and randomly disconnects and is just overall terrible. It is an alright speed but is definitely not fast.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:34:32Z
there is nothing to do here and everything is closed by 8 o clock, unless you want to drive 45 minutes to the nearest walmart. It is very remote and you have to enjoy doing nothing to come here. I must say I do enjoy running off campus and it is a very safe environment.
College Freshman 2013-11-13T21:32:44Z
The food here is terrible and very limited. They have an ok stir fry station which is what I get by on, but usually the main course meals are disgusting. On the weekends the options are even more limited and I am usually forced to go grocery shopping. If you are looking to stay healthy this is not your place. I eat very healthy and I cannot stand this dining hall.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
