there are probably 5 to 10 duplexes off campus, but they are basically on campus which has its pros and cons. I am not sure on the availability, cost, or any details.

The off-campus housing demand was increasing my junior and senior year so the school hired a company to make duplex housing across the street from campus. The duplexes were great, and new! However, you don't apply as a group so sometimes you are living with people you would rather not. The other off-campus housing was houses that the school turned into apartments. Student applied as a group and were accepted based on their individual and group applications. Some students say the off-campus housing was certainly worth it. I would have to disagree with them for my freshman and sophomore years, but might have leaned more towards agreement my senior year.

Off campus housing is amazing and it gives rise to many new experiences, such as learning to cook on your own and learning to work on a daily basis. Land lords are awesome and are always around to help.

There are definitely some very interesting options for off campus living. They are all houses of some sort so you gain that luxury. If your living with two or more people though and you are social, expect to BE EXPECTED to have at least 25 people over to drink AT LEAST once a weekend.

Recently Colby-Sawyer just added new houses right next to campus. These are appartments that are furnished and gorgeous just built over the summer! They are planning on building more this summer too! There are also a lot of off campus housing that a lot of studnets like.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
