School Spirit
While varsity sports might not be huge, Colby spirit is alive and well. Rivalries with Bates and Bowdoin can incite bouts of chanting from even the least-spirited students. Almost every car here has a Colby sticker on it, and athletes love to wear their Colby gear. Students take offense when insults are leveled at the school. The school spirit at Colby is not overwhelming or football-driven, but it is definitely present and palpable.
Getting Tickets
Getting tickets to athletic contests is never a problem. Tickets are only on sale for big games like the Bates football game and the Bowdoin hockey game; otherwise, students can get into games for free.
