Rough

At the beginning, obtaining a scholarship was simple just because I was given a very nice Colby Grant. Although I had to take out loans, it didn't seem like it would be a big deal to pay them off. Now heading into my second year I'm scrmabling to find scholarships since tuition has just gone up. With two younger siblings in private school and me stumbling through college it's going to be difficult to procure financial aid.

Good Money

They are very flexible with money. Most kids who get aid, get pretty good aid as a matter of fact. Some people only stay because of the money.

Colby Loves Grants!

The financial aid process is smooth and consistent at Colby, and they WILL give you the money you need. Colby, without financial aid, would not be affordable for me, but now it is actually less expensive than attending the state university. They also recently switched to grants, so the majority of your aid you do not have to pay back!
