Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

CCS has something that you just can't get at another college or university. There's this feeling in the air, an energy, that makes you feel you finally belong. For the people who knew they were meant for greatness but never really fit in anywhere else, this is the school for them. Once you step foot on campus, you know that this is it. Your life changes. You're given opportunities that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Detroit itself is an eclectic city, and CCS is where the talent flocks to and where people come to look for talent. There are so many different experiences one can have here that it's hard to narrow it down into one description. You find your bliss here. You get to, and are heavily encouraged to, work on art 24/7. Yes, there are some liberal arts classes, but they make you well-rounded, and CCS gears those classes toward art-minded people. It's the best place for an artist or designer to go for their degree. You will see the most return on your investment. CCS graduates are in high demand.

Really Good!

We have new iMacs with large screens with the complete CS5 suite. The only reason its not an A+ is because we could use an extra glossy/lustre paper printer.

Overall Experience at College for Creative Studies

Pretty Decent

The tuition is super high, which is very difficult for most students. Most of the studio photography equipment is very old, which makes me miss my old college where we had state of the art supplies. However, the techers are super helpful and knowledgeable. We also have a student gallery at the end of the year which allows students to show their best work. The campus is small, which allows for easy access and the classrooms are also small, which allows for more student-teacher interaction.

Parking is easy! We are provided with a private parking structure that uses our student ID as access for entry.
