Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

There are plenty of guys and plenty of girls. The only problem you might have is trying to decipher their sexual preferences. When the freshmen come in, you can tell because they're not used to this new sense of freedom, so you'll probably see a lot of one-night stands. Upperclassmen have been there and done that, so they're obviously more focused on their studies.

Art students do tend to be more promiscuous and use the excuse that they're art students to dress inappropriately because they're "expressing" themselves. Other students tend to be more reserved. They leave their personal life out of their studies. It's harder for students who live on campus to keep academics and personal stuff separate, but it's possible.

Girls? Where? HERE? Nahhhhh

The girls at CCS are like non-existent. If they they do pop up behind a corner and make you do a double take, chances are they are a commuter, have a bf, or are a commuter with a bf. There are exceptions. The guys are pretty dorky, but there are lots of them, so finding one you like, can't be too hard.

Some All Around Cool Cats

It is an art school so people dress very stylish. There are a lot of people who have the hipster look going for them. Most people I have talked to are super nice.

What kinds of relationships have you had since coming to school?

How would you rate the social scene on campus?

Facts

Social Scene

Everyone is pretty outgoing. Some people keep to themselves, but that's attributed to the mysterious artsy façade.

Hookups or Relationships?

The workload doesn't leave you much time to have a social life, let alone a relationship. Hookups are more common. Sometimes students will date each other because they're the only ones that "get" each other and understand life as a CCS student.

Dress Code

The only dress code at CCS is that there is no dress code. Students wear whatever they want, whenever they want. Shorts in the wintertime? Sure. Leggings as pants? Sure. Sweaters at the beginning of the fall semester? Sure. Girl jeans on boys and mohawks on girls? It's only the beginning.
