Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Detroit is the Motor City, so it's beneficial to have a car as a student in Detroit, but it's not the end of the world if you don't. Many students take advantage of the weekly shuttle trips to the grocery store, CVS, or the shopping mall. You can get a bike and ride around with friends to different places just for fun, or with the CCS Bike Club for exercise.

CCS' shuttles will bring you back and forth between each campus, as well as the store, so you don't really need a car to survive, and there are always people carpooling to different cool events and concerts happening in and around Detroit.

CCS Bus Stuttles

Public Transportation is something i have never done in Detroit. From what i heard from friends taxi service is a little slow and taking the city bus can be a little nerve wrecking. However CCS has its own public transportation on campus. The CCS Bus Stuttle comes every 15 minutes and runs all day all night. Also on certain days one of the shuttle takes students to the local grocery stores and art supplies stores. This form of transportation is extremely useful to use CCS students, I would not know what to do with out them.
