After a year of experience at the Mount, I am convinced that this institution is not for me. The small class sizes and close professor-student relationships are qualities that have met only some of my educational standards. Asides from their Nursing program, the Mount has not developed their other programs thoroughly. Some courses have even become a joke, which is the complete opposite of how I feel a college should be. After all, it is only natural to encounter struggles and difficulties throughout a college career. Therefore, passionate Business and Communications majors should not even consider this school. The reasons for this would be their poorly organized programs, unmotivated students, and lack of facilities and equipment. If I were given the opportunity to choose this school over again, unfortunately, I do not think I would.
The limited course options have also put a damper on my confidence in my future. Students are not offered enough variety to be well rounded in different areas, let alone one’s specific major. Again, asides from Nursing, I feel like I am not being prepared well enough. In comparison to other institutions, I believe that I am far behind in the development of my career. Sometimes, I even find myself envious of what other schools have to offer their students.
However, despite my negative feelings towards the Mount, I will always love the convenient size of the campus. Making friends, developing bonds, and getting attention from professors have never come so easily at a college. Not only has this benefitted my social life, but my academics as well. I have found that scheduling study parties and borrowing each others’ books are simple, and for the most part, it is something I have heard is difficult to do in larger institutions.
The College of Mount Saint Vincent is a relatively small school with a tight-knit community. Students can expect to be stopped by friends and classmates on the journey from their dorm rooms to class. However, because the campus is so tiny, some find it rather invasive. Privacy has become an issue for a lot of students here, especially when living on campus. But, with the right friends and good mindset, anyone can keep their private lives to themselves.

My Experience Is Satisfactory
I really enjoy being a part of the school and would probably choose it again because of its convenience and how easy it is to get accustomed to the campus, although that may not always be a good thing.
